Village Bell

Located in Cardinia Shire, 50 km south east of Melbourne, Upper Beaconsfield enjoys a unique environmental and cultural heritage. The estimated 3136 residents are spread over a wide area in a manner that preserves the natural environment. The small town centre offers a number of shops and eating establishments whilst maintaining a warm and friendly village atmosphere. The village stands on the brink of a south facing escarpment. It's environs include Guys Hill, 2.5 kms to the south by road and a steep 150 metres closer to sea level and, to the north, parts of Dewhurst that survived the completion of Cardinia Reservoir in 1973.
